The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon Pop-Up Book

I read Stephen King's The Girl Who Loved Tom Gordon a few years ago. I found this pop-up book version on sale at Borders.

The story is a about a girl of around twelve years old who gets separated from her family on a hike. Trisha is lost overnight in the creepy, creepy woods with only the contents of her backpack. The one thing that calms her enough to keep her wits about her is listening to the Red Sox game on her little battery operated radio.

The contrast between terror in being lost in the woods and steady progression of baseball makes for one scary book.

The pop-ups are so cool. The detail is amazing. I would love to see more books done in pop-up.

I don't want to be lost in those woods.

Stephen King fans will remember the red truck.
