How could I not post on BLOG DAY?

It's been a tiring week for your hostess and web mistress.

I got on the computer tonight expressly for the purpose of writing a post. Of course, I can't resist checking in a few places first.

Lucky for me, my first stop was the PayPerPost forums. Those bloggers never fail to inspire. Tonight Mcangeli, of Delusions of Grandeur, kindly pointed out that today is the third annual Blog Day.

I know you have the same question I did: What makes an official Blog Day any different than any other day? Isn't everyday Blog Day for those of us that are obsessed with authors of blogs?

The special idea about Blog Day is to encourage blog readers to read blogs that are not so famous or popular. To make this happen, participating bloggers will recommend five blogs to their readers.

Here are my picks:

Life's Little Notebook - I have to plug Gloria, the Mad Penguin. She's funny and sarcastic, but not as sarcastic as she claims to be.  Of all the blogs I read, she seems to write the most like I imagine her talking... a wild streak of humor and insight.

Bloggrrl - This is my favorite blog in my least favorite category of blogs - blogs about blogging, SEO, and making money online. Most of the time I see that type of blog and think, "what the hell do you know?" With Michelle, I am laughing too hard to think at all.

Skeet's Stuff - I like Skeet enough that I joined Bookcrossing on her recommendation. They, gasp, give books away for others to find. The reason I can accept this idea from Skeet is she is a fellow pack rat and bookwork.

Becca's Buzz - Becca is the closest to me geographically on my blog roll, with only one exception. She lives in St. Louis. Her interest's vary, but her writing doesn't. She's headed to  England and Italy on vacation shortly. I plan to live vicariously through her photos.

Juuust a Bit Outside - This blog is listed by special request. This is the exception the geography rule, because I've been married to this blogger for nearly 6 years. Chris is an expert in all things sports. Right now, he is working his way through all the NFL teams, doing in depth pre-season coverage. A new and growing blog will discuss professional, college, fantasy and simulated sports.

Thanks for the tag. Like in real life, being picked on means people like me, right?

      You're welcomed.

One of my top reasons for blogging is that I love so many blogs.

OOOH! BRAGGING CHANCES! Thanks for the plug! *blushblush* I've sobered up recently, hey? I'm not as funny as I used to be, nor am I as wild as I used to sound. Haha. I'm having a period of sobering nowadays for some reasons, if I can gather up my guts to blog about it, I will. Thank you so much for reading me. I'm so touched! And thanks for the plug! Oh wait, I said that. Double thanks doesn't hurt so nevermind. Will brag about this plug the next time I blog, expect it in 2-3 days! I usually take within 10 nanoseconds to brag but Uni is pulling me. :p

If you flunk out of Uni because you are blogging too much, I will have to remove you from my blogroll. I will not be a party to that sort of thing.
