Email Backlog: 67 Emails Saved
My blogging friends don't know this about me, but I'll admit it here and now:
I am a pack rat and a procrastinator.
It's bad enough that these traits are evident in my real life. My apartment, my handbags, and the binder I use at work each make my two headed dragon of a trait obvious to even a causal observer.
When my digital realm is cluttered, it's just sad.
Most of the things I have saved in my Yahoo! inbox are newsletters and sign up confirmations. The former I hang onto as potential "blog fodder," the latter "in case."
It's not like I don't have other folders:
Blog Posts (where my emailed versions of all my blog posts go)
Phoenix (my saved work from my short stint at University of Phoenix)
oddsandends (everything that I wanted to keep last time I cleaned out my inbox)
and, of course, Sabrina (emails from Kate with pictures of Sabrina from ultrasound to current).
What I think I need to do is split oddsandends into something like "login" or "important paperwork" and a folder for "blog fodder."
Maybe later...
