Me and Truck
It was windy, but warm today. We got up passed 50 degrees today. Yesterday morning it was 19 degrees when I left for work. Even the cool breeze today felt wonderful.
Since I'd blogged about Chris and I fixing the truck, I thought it ought to get it's picture taken. Also pictured are the new jeans from the previous post. The shoes are the half off pair from the buy one, get one set. They'll get a post, too. We all know I love shoes.
Chris took the picture earlier this evening before we went to Wal-Mart. I'm glad I remembered to do it while the day light held. I hate to show interior shots with messy backgrounds and our apartment complex doesn't have enough exterior lighting to make nighttime portraits possible.
I bought fixings for more salads. They may have to take my thrift club membership card after I paid almost three dollars for one red bell pepper. I usually get the three pack of yellow, red and green, but none of them looked edible. I got a red and a green (88 cents) instead. I don't feel too bad splurging on healthy food.

The secret is simple - I didn't have to leave the house all day til around 6 pm.
