Green for a Day

For Give Me Five Monday, our hostess Becca of BeccA's Buzz provides a theme idea or question. We, the players, use the theme to build a short list of five items answering the question. This week our theme is:

Give Me Five favorite green things or your favorite ways to be green or favorite things about St. Patrick's day or mix and match!

1. It's Not Easy Being Green - The one; the only; Kermit the Frog.

2. Evergreen State - If I can call any area of the country my "home town", it would be Western Washington. It is where I graduated from high school. My parents and my brother still live there. Odds are before I am old enough for medicare insurance, we'll move back in the direction.

3. Irish Folks - My brother is James O'Neil III. Irish enough?

4. Don't Forget Orange - I wore green today as an American celebrating St. Patrick's Day. If I'd been in Ireland, I would have been in orange representing Protestantism, while the Catholic majority wears green. Read up on the Irish flag at Wikipedia.

5.
Leprechaun Tina - I didn't think to have Chris snap a picture before I got into pj mode tonight. I did the next best thing. I went to Torrid's website to find a picture of the shirt I bought there in December. I have it in black also, but I only get comments on the green one. Wonder why? To think, I almost forgot to wear it today.
