A Ring for Snoring Relief
Two weeks ago, I received a ring in the mail designed to curb snoring. I have been asked to test the product then report my experience on my blog.
I had doubts over wither wearing a ring on my left hand pinkie could solve a lifetime of snoring. Still, I have tried strips for the top of my nose. They fall off before they have a chance to work. I even tried little plastic bracket things you wear in your nose when you sleep. They were so uncomfortable. No matter how hard I tried, I couldn't keep to it.
My snoring is bad, worse when I am overtired (when am I not?). When I'm congested I have woken myself up with the noise. I remember it happening back to my early teens. It's awful waking morning after morning with Chris sleeping on the couch. I had nothing to lose. If it worked would change my life.
The first thing I noticed when I opened the package was the quality of the ring itself. As you can see in the picture, taken in my own hand, it is a thick ring to stand up to wear nightly. I was also pleased to see the opening built for easy adjustment. My hands swell in humid weather and around my period (TMI, I know).
There are two little bumps on the inside of the ring to be worn on the underside of the finger midway between the base of the finger and knuckle. The instructions say it can take two or three weeks for results.
Chris reports a noticeable decree in volume starting earlier this week. While it is not a full fix to our problem, I plan to continue wearing the ring. I hope it continues to improve over the coming weeks. Even a small help is worth wearing it. With any luck, less snoring will mean better sleep for both of us.

I've never seen the ring before. I've been snoring since I was 12, and haven't found any decent relief. I will definitely have to give the ring a try.
Be sure to keep us posted on the further results.
Thanks,
Adam

How interesting.
Any idea how it actually works?

It's an acupressure thing. The website explains it much better than I can.

I'll be watching for further updates. My husband is a terribly snorer... and if this helps you, I'll be next in line to buy one!

We may be ordering one for my dad, too.

Looks interesting. I saw something recently about kids with attention deficit disorders. Apparently a lot of it is caused by them not getting enough sleep as their snoring kept waking them up.
The cure was a tonsillectomy and they started to sleep better and their attention disorder was gone.
So if you still have your tonsils maybe check with the doc to see if this is contributing to snoring.

I wouldn't be surprised if I have a similar issue. I am tired so often. I usually attribute to my hypothyroidism. While I'm not as tired when I'm a good girl taking my medication, I never feel completely refreshed.
Gosh, I hate going to the doctor, but it might just be worth it.

That's pretty cool - I've never heard of such a thing before! I've become a horrible snorer over the past couple of years. I'm sure hubby would appreciate me wearing something like this!
BTW - thanks for the add, I've returned the favour

I forgot to wear it one night last week. Hubby noticed the difference and reminded me to wear it the next day. Not perfect, but much better.
I'd say, try it for the thirty day period. Send it back if it doesn't work for you.
