Quality Cat Snuggling Time

Our Eddie doesn't want affection all the time or every day. When he does want some lovin' he is very demanding. About once a week, he'll lay down on me when I'm hanging out watching TV. Nothing says love like the contented expression on his face while I scratch behind his ears.
After a lazy day of relaxing with Hubby and the cats, I'm headed over to Midlife Musings for this week's Self Portrait Sunday.

awwww lovely snuggly time. you both look so happy

I'd have a hard time going back to life without cats.

that's why i'm a dog person, it would break my heart to go a day without lovin' from my pet.

I'm never surprised when I hear about studies that show pets are good for our health. My cuddle time is so relaxing.

Just read about Eddie's adventures on the outside, and am happy to see him looking so content, safe and sound!

Even all this time later, I am thankful every day to have him home with me.

My cat Chica is the same. She likes to live in peace without all the snuggling. But there are times she needs it and then she is coming by herself with a big MEOW and doesn't leave until she got all the hugs

It is important to remember that while dogs have owners, cats have staff

My cat used to not be that affectionate either. What fixed that was getting a dog. We had the dog for about 2 year until she was just to much for us to handle in an apartment. Now that the dog is gone, in a house with a yard and a good family, the cat, named Breakfast, is more loving than ever. Sometimes too loving. Breakfast is a great cat though.

I love the name Breakfast. So cute.
My parents just took my brother and sister-in-law's second cat. She's had a total personality change because their first cat was mean to her and ate all the food. She hid for two years. Now she is so happy and playful.

Somehow I missed your entry on Sunday, but great picture!! I miss my kitties, but with 2 ancient dogs cats are out right now.

I can see how a kitten especially would be a bad idea. Our little one is wilder than I remember the big cats being.

The cat sure looked very comfortable!

My cats would tell you, if he wasn't comfortable he would move. Cats are very big on comfort and pleasure.
