Morning Person? Week 1, Day 1
My new shift started today. I was up at 6 AM to be at work at 7 AM.
As it happened, I was scheduled to work with new hires during their first two weeks taking calls. Meaning eight hours of walking around helping and answering questions. I love the helping and answering questions.
The walking around, not so much. I don't want to lose weight bad enough to go back to a job were I'm on my feet the whole time. I forgot how crappy it is in the three years since I last worked retail.
It's quarter after nine. I'm going to shower and go to bed.
I have to work the shift for 60 days. In that amount of time, I should adjust to the gosh-awful early start time.

My goal has always been to blog with a positive attitude. If I'm tired, grumpy, or tired and grumpy. It doesn't fit my image. Frankly, it's not pleasant, in the least, for anyone involved. Sometimes this philosophy presents problems. Sometimes a girl is tired, grumpy or otherwise unpleasant. I begin composing a post in my head, then realize it is rubbish. Still, this is a personal blog. If anything, I think I don't blog enough about day to day life. It's the nature of things when you have a job you can't talk about in detail and a personal life ...

I am going to come back to find out how day 2 goes.

I was looking for a motivation to blog this evening. That's it. Thanks!

Good luck to you, I don't think I could ever take another 'on my feet all day' type job. The early morning would kill me too. You're a tougher soul than I!

The combo is painful, but I go back to my desk next Thursday. I figure my body will stop complaining about the morning stuff because it will be so thankful not to be running for eight hours.
