Doodle Bug

When I think of bugs, I automatically think of ladybugs. Since before I was born, my mom has collected ladybugs. She is so well know for them, she seldom buys them anymore. Friends and family think of her when they see anything with the good luck bugs.
I kept it simple with this Doodle, going back to the years when laptop described the notebook on my knees. On notebook paper, I doodled the bugs in pen, filled in the black with marker and used a green thin tip Sharpie for the green leaves.
Tomorrow's theme is "Doodle Outer Space." Come play.

How pretty...that would make great wallpaper for my garden...(if my garden had walls, that is...hehe)
Peace

I like all your bugs. I'd collect a lot of stuff but I found the alternative. I just take photos of stuff I'd like to collect and then don't buy it.

Thanks. My collecting habit are pretty mild. I like things that have a story behind them or some function. For example, I love vintage Tupperware. My mom sent me most of hers and I've picked up a few pieces at the thrift store. I'm too cheap for it to get out of control.

I love ladybugs. Did you make a wish?

Of course. Positive superstitions are good luck in my book.
BTW, love your blog title. I will think for chocolate, myself.

Looks like a shower curtain.

Cool. I wouldn't have thought of that, but I'd love it as a shower curtain. You've got me wondering what type of paint or markers would work on a clear shower curtain. I bet Sharpies.... hmmm....

Love love Doodle Week! Your ladybugs are so much friendlier than my big ole bug!

The beautiful thing about doodle week is how differently each person interprets the prompts. Must say something about us beyond artistic talent, I just don't know what.

LOL When you said collected ladybugs. I don't know why but I thought she collected real lady bugs.... and I was like, 'what does she do with them?'

I can see getting that from my statement. I can see some weird mental pictures.
My grandmother used to order ladybugs for her garden. They keep the "bad" bugs away and are territorial so they stay where they are released.

I love your doodle lady bugs. They're very cute. My doodle lady bugs, on the other hand, look like cat's heads. Don't ask.
Happy doodling!

Nothing wrong with cat-centric living and doodling.
