After A Long Hard Day Shopping

Sunday tends to be my day to do something with Kate. Today we drove up to St Louis. We have shopping down here is limited to, let me see, Wal-mart, JC Penney, and Wal-mart.
We headed to the mall for Torrid for me and B.Moss for Kate.
I restocked my supplies at Teavana. I got a hot cup of too-rich-for-my-blood Spice of Life, a white tea blend that sells for $14 for two ounces loose tea. It's good and prized for health benefits. I'm happy with my Masala Chai and the misnamed Mrs. Earl Grey (Lady Grey, Earl is a title, not a first name).
Then we went to Garden Ridge (home stuff), Michaels, and Target (how I pray they build a Target down here). When you live so far away from all these places, you've got to make a trip to the city count.
I put my camera and fresh batteries in my purse, but I still managed to forget about Self Portrait Sunday until I was home. Do I look wilted? There is a national weather service advisory for high heat levels all over Missouri until Tuesday.
I'm going to head over to Cass' blog to "see" the Self Portrait Sunday participants.

You look perky to me. Love the top! I just made a mad dash to the store when I realized I didn't have a new box of Lipton's in the back of the pantry, lol! I do love specialty teas, but Lipton's on ice is my mainstay, so that had to be fixed!

Thank you. I never shy away from bright colors. I'm not Southern enough to drink iced tea. I'm more British in my tea drinking. Comes from my gram who I remember giving me hot tea when I was three years old. Those crazy folks wearing English clothes and drinking hot tea in India, yep, that's me.
