Some Days It Isn't Worth Leaving the House

I tried an honest self portrait this week. It seemed like I good idea on a day I didn't get dressed, let alone leave the apartment. I used the old picture in the mirror trick. Note my battery charger on the sink.
The picture above turned out better than this one:
I have no idea why it looks like I've got red lights in my bathroom. I may not have fancy lighting fixtures, but the over head light was on in our tiny bathroom.
The only cool thing I did today was watch a DVD sent by a market research firm. It had a pilot television program. I'm not able to discuss any details. Proprietary information and confidentiality, you know.
I wasn't impressed with the program itself, but my TV habits are fairly off-beat. It's a safe bet if everyone is watching, I'm not. I couldn't resist agreeing to out my two-cents into the mix. Anyone who knows me, knows I'm pretty opinionated. I'll be watching the prime time line ups for signs of the show. Even though it wasn't my cup of tea, I would have to watch once to see how the final product turned out. Or if it doesn't show up, I'll know I had something to do with it. Even if I don't win the prize package of household and grocery items, I'll be glad I put in my half hour in service of the American television viewer.
Now it's time to go see Cass and visit the participants in Self Portrait Sunday. Here's to another week.

I've been a Neilsen rater a few times, but never gotten to review a new show before it came oot. Sounds fun. Even if it turns out to be a dud, you can say you were the first kid on the block to see it.

I would jump at the change to do it again. I've tested shampoo, toothpaste, and even "bathroom tissue" once, but TV is such a big deal. It's one of the few chances a little guy like me gets to influence popular culture.

Wow, that is weird that things would go so red. Bathrooms do really odd things to pictures a lot of the time.
I'm intrigued about this television previewing/reviewing thing. Is there any specific way to get involved with that?

I'm going to try the bedroom mirror next week if nothing more fun comes up.
I'm a member of a hand full of online survey sites. I ran a cross a good list of survey sites and paid surveys. The company this was through was Ipsos. They don't pay, really, but I've gotten a couple of test products from them.
