Shoes I Am

A girl has got to have some pretty shoes to feel special, don't you think?
A third pair was purchased, but not pictured. In fact, were the mission for the trip. My new sneakers aren't exciting or shinny, but I needed them.
I also got my hair cut. Usually, I would have posted pictures of a fresh haircut, but I've been sick.
Chris was so happy to take me shoe shopping earlier in the week. He has been working hard at a new freelance writing job over the last month. Over the last few years both of us have brought in a modest sum with our blogs. It has helped our one income budget stay comfortable, but hasn't been enough to give us a real second income feel. With what he is doing now should be as good as a part time job only in less time. I'm not saying we're in the market for a house with an Amish fireplace, but it is a step in the right direction.
I'm so proud of him turning his passion for sports into a profitable venture. The money is nice. The shoes are great. What is even better is my dear husband feeling good about bring home the bacon. No matter how much we objectively believe it is fine for me to be the breadwinner in the relationship, it is good for his ego to be able to take his wife out to dinner.
And I'll never say no to a new pair of shoes.
Hey, I have those silver shoes too!! You got them from Payless, didn't you? I had a rough start with them at first. Since there are apparently no 1/2 sizes after 10, I had to get an 11 and stuff the toes. I have never had to do that and it sucked. Now though, they are totally comfy and I get lots of compliments on them. That's good because I don't "do" alot of shoes, in fact I hate shopping for them! So getting compliments means I did something right.

Great minds...
I'm a Payless girl, all the way. Even before I worked for them for seven years, from nineteen to twenty-six, I'd always shopped there. It's harder to buy without my employee discount.
I found the seams to be a little ouchie the first wear. I'm going to try them with socks.I have issues because my left foot is 1/2 or 3/4 size shorter than my right. I can't wear heels much anymore so colorful flats are some of the most fun I have with my feet.
